So last night I was just finishing off my New Years edition, with just the last finishing touched to go, aaaaaand GIMP crashes. It wasn't too complex of a cap, so I can redo it, and it should be on schedule, but still. Jesus Saves.

Hey guys, things in my life have taken a turn for the worst, and I'm afraid I won't be posting here for a while. I have a couple caps done or almost done, and while they're on a hard drive wrapped in a sweater in my backpack right now, I'll try to get to a place where I can post them as soon as possible.
Thank you all for understanding the delay,

So I started out my cap-making career on Rachel's Haven, a wonderful community of trans acceptance and cap-sharing. However, that website has a pesky little issue--a filesize limit on uploaded caps. This means that I've been in the habit of saving mine in .jpg, with a bit of compression to let me post. Even as I was on Courtney's Clean Caps, I was still posting compressed files, and not really caring about the ugly artifacts infecting the images. However, for some reason Blogger is really bringing them out, giving me cause to share in uncompressed .pngs Thanks to another habit of mine, I still have all my original .xcf's, and can convert them to the better quality for the viewing enjoyment of all!
Edit: I'm not sure what's up with the second one but somehow I gave it new problems. Hold the h8 until it's fixed.
Edit: Fixed. Tbh it's not that noticeable of a quality difference, but it's slightly visible. I jiggered the layers so the background is lighter too, making the text easier to read.
